Are you eternally busy, stressed, and have no time for yourself? We are proposing a few time-saving tips that will make your life a little less stressful.

You will learn how to make the most effective use of your time that will make your work a million times better.

Read on to find these time-saving tips for moms.

1. Start to plan a week ahead

Plan your meals for a week. That way it will be easier for you to prepare several days’ meals in just one day.

It will help you to save a lot of time. One of the easy ways to do that is to go to your supermarket website and check if they have meal planners with recipes (for example Tesco has it). That way you can find what you like and order the food needed for those meals and have it delivered to your doorstep. Easy as that.

Also, prepare your breakfast beforehand. Make muffins, pancakes, scones, vegetables, granola bars, vegetable and eggs muffins on Sundays. Heat them in the microwave and be good to go. You get to enjoy a healthy breakfast with no hassle.

You can also save time by picking out outfits for the week so you don’t waste time deciding on what to wear that morning before work. Take advantage of that Sunday afternoon to plan your entire week.

Meal planning2. Get up as soon as the alarm clock turns on

If you can’t get out of bed and keep snoozing the alarm, you’re not the only one doing it. A lot of people do that. There is an easy way to trick yourself to get up. All you have to do is put the alarm clock on the other side of the room so you can’t reach it when you’re in bed. You will have to get out of bed to turn it off. Another few minutes saved.

3. Dinner lunches

While making dinner, cut up some extra veggies and cook some extra protein so you can make the kids’ lunches for tomorrow. You can fill up quesadillas and sandwiches with it. Remember to have water, juice, or milk on hand to pack the night before.

4. Order groceries online

You can order groceries online and have them delivered to your doorstep at a fee, or you can choose to order online and pick your groceries up at the store where someone brings them out to your car free of charge.

If you don’t like ordering online, then go to the grocery store only once a week with a grocery list that was made throughout the week. That way you’ll get everything you need and won’t wander around the store wasting time and forgetting a few things along the way.

5. You need an ongoing grocery list in your life

Keep a list attached to the fridge. So, whenever you run out of something write it down on the shopping list. That way, you’ll be good to go whenever the time for grocery shopping comes.

6. Online shopping is your best friend

That way you’ll save a ton of time and a little bit of money as well. House items, clothes, medicines, supplements…all of that can be ordered and delivered to your doorstep.

7. Let your bank worry about paying your bills – the auto-pay option

Your bank will notify you whenever your bill has been paid. With auto-pay, whenever your bill comes through, it takes whatever amount is needed from your bank account. Your job is to ensure that you have enough money in your bank account to cover the bill amount. Simple as that.

Using the apps8. Use the apps for everything you can

Tody for example, for smarter cleaning. Also, learn how to delegate chores. Kids can do some simple chores themselves. That way you won’t have to do everything by yourself.

Bank apps, calendar apps, cooking apps. There are apps for almost everything, you just need to find which of those work best for your needs.

9. Time for social media

Assign time for checking Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other social media. Why? The answer is pretty simple, we lose too much time scrolling our feeds and that can be extremely time-consuming. This way you’ll still have time to check your messages and connect with your family and friends only in a way that suits you and your lifestyle better.

10. Hire help

Once a month, hire help to do the deep cleaning of the house. That way, you’ll save so much precious time for yourself and your family. It is worth paying someone to do that for you.

11. Hire a nanny

It is perfectly fine to hire a nanny for a few hours once a week. You need and deserve your “me time”. After all, both kids and the husband need a happy mum and wife. If you don’t give yourself your “me time” you’ll constantly be under pressure and unhappy. Nobody will benefit from that least of all you.
